How It Works

  1. Reach out — Send an inquiry through the contact form or order directly through a Fiverr gig, whichever fits your project best.
  2. Share your project details — Tell me what you need, your timeline, and any materials or context that’ll help me understand your voice and goals.
  3. Review & confirm scope — I’ll confirm the details, timeline, and pricing before any work begins, so there are no surprises.
  4. Drafting, revisions, delivery — I get to work on your project, whether that’s a first draft, an edit pass, or feedback on your manuscript. We’ll work through revisions as defined in the project scope, and the order is finalized.

Writing & Editing FAQ

A good editor will make the smaller edits for you, provide feedback, guidance, and suggestions that hone and refine your voice, not replace it.

This depends on the scope of the project. When inquiring about a service, it helps to have details on word count, expectations, budget and time constraints ready. Projects may be priced on a number of factors including word count, scope, hourly rate, or finished project.

It depends. Some jobs work more smoothly with Fiverr’s messaging feature, secured payment, and tiered options. Off-Fiverr orders are invoiced through Freshbooks with secured payment options.

Turnaround depends on scope and service type. Timelines are confirmed during the initial scoping conversation before work begins.

There’s no question that AI has changed how the writing and editing industry works, and this can be a point of high emotion and opinion. FFWS reserves the right to use AI as a tool for small, supportive tasks (like collecting research data, mining the internet for keywords, or finding a list of synonyms, for example), but holds firm that AI should never be used as a replacement for human innovation, creativity, or heart.
*If you want to explicitly refuse any AI use with your order, please communicate your wishes up front.

Yes. AI Content Refinement is one of the core services offered, polishing AI-assisted drafts so they read as authentically human in tone, structure, and voice. This type of work refines flat AI content and improves user experience (UX), while reducing costs for business owners and individuals.
